"I worked with Kevin from May 2019 until Feb 2020 when I was MD at Impcross Ltd. Impcross were in escalation with their main customer due to delivery issues across a number of key programs. Kevin was placed at Impcross to offer support, clear “line stops”, significantly improve OTIF, improve forecasting, and ultimately efficiencies and cost savings. Kevin’s impact was immediate, showing his experience as an exceptional project manager. He set out a very clear plan - short, mid, and long term. Kevin focused on procedural and operational tasks, line stops were removed in the first 4 weeks, and all further planned improvements were met.
Kevin has a great ability to challenge the norm. He is a very strong character, and takes people out of their comfort zone while instilling a positive team environment. He placed a lot of emphasis on responsibilities, “customer/supplier” relationships and ownership within the team, which lead to a huge change in dynamic and results. Kevin also mentored and coached a number of the team members, selflessly giving up his time to improve others, and ran/coached improvement teams that lead to 100% improvement in output while removing the cost of a night shift, inspection overheads, and waste through rework and scrap.
I personally couldn’t have made the changes in the timeframe without Kevin’s support, and as someone in a new role, I found it hugely advantageous to be able to have Kevin as a sounding board and have access to his vast knowledge.
